Sushi Hikari

Details & Description

Branding design project for Sushi Hikari. My role involved developing the visual identity, including choosing the colors, typography, and art direction. I created images of the chef and other elements using AI, and designed the logo, store signs, and billboard ads. Additionally, I established the brand's tone and identity, ensuring everything aligns with the traditional yet fresh appeal of the restaurant.
About

With 'Hikari' meaning 'light' in Japanese, Sushi Hikari embodies that purpose and stays true to its roots, emphasizing traditional sushi recipes from their origins. Starting as a takeaway service, Sushi Hikari aims to provide and offer traditionally made sushi using only the highest-quality ingredients, with fresh fish being the main priority. No sushi has more than three toppings, giving the taste its intended hierarchy. With the target audience being anyone who seeks traditional sushi with that authentic taste, Sushi Hikari isn’t afraid to stand outside the normalized spotlight. Although this design project was for a takeaway service, I've already set my sights on their future by designing store signs and billboard ads to showcase the brand's potential.

Looking for mayo or fried toppings, maybe multiple layers on the roll? Not here. This place is all about tradition – get on board or get out.
